The Patrick O’Neil Memorial Faculty Association Scholarship is awarded on the basis of academic excellence and contributions to the campus and community. The recipient will be selected by the Scholarship Committee of the SUNY Broome Faculty Association. Download the scholarship application form to apply!
Eligibility Requirements:
- Full-time, matriculated BCC student
- Two (2) written Faculty recommendations, at least one from applicant’s degree area
- G.P.A. of 3.5 or above
- Intent to graduate by May 2014
- Contributions to the College campus and to the community
- Proficient written communication skills
Application Requirements:
- Signed Application statement indicating applicant’s intent to graduate by May 2014
- Letters of Recommendation from 2 Faculty/Staff members
- Letter(s) of verification regarding campus and community contributions
- Informal typed essay of not more than 500 words—double-spaced, MLA format
- Transcripts from colleges other that BCC, if applicable
